Denise has been passionate about ministry ever since she was a teen and brings a wealth of experience.

She was born in Nova Scotia, grew up in Scarborough and lives close by. Her spiritual journey in Christ began in her in the Baptist church and has led her to Anglicanism, which has deepened her faith and developed a spirit of contemplation and love of liturgy.

She has a natural energy and enthusiasm about her ministry. She believes that it’s important to partner with parents to empower children to grow in their faith, and that ministering and supporting children, families and youth are essential to parish health and growth. Denise obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (Philosophy, English and French) from Trinity Western University in British Columbia in 1998, and loves to travel. She feels blessed to be part of the Holy Trinity, Guildwood faith community.
