Welcometo join us at Holy Trinity, Guildwood

We invite you to join us at Holy Trinity, Guildwood.

An introduction…

We are a small, vibrant community church following the Way of Jesus: The Way of Peace, Compassion and Forgiveness.

Some 2000 years ago, Jesus began to teach in the lake and hill region of Galilee (in modern-day Israel), bringing wisdom and purpose, joy and fulfilment to the hearts of his disciples. Jesus is still inviting people to discover the Life of Love and awaken to their true identity as children of God.

If you have no spiritual community, we invite you to come and experience the richness of Christ present in the life of Holy Trinity, located on the Scarborough Bluffs, in the little lakeside village of Guildwood, in the city of Toronto.

FAQ

What should I wear?

Don’t worry about style. When you come to one of our services, you will find people dressed in a variety of styles, though most dress smart casual. Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable to worship God.

How do I know what to do?

When you arrive, a greeter will welcome you. S/he will give you a bulletin that outlines the service. Feel free to identify yourself as a visitor and ask any questions you might have.

Once inside, you may sit anywhere you like. You will see the Book of Alternative Services in front of you (a green book) as well as the hymns (a blue book) once you sit down. These are the books we use for the services. Please refer to your bulletin for page references.

How long is the service?

The 8:00 a.m. service lasts about 45 minutes. The 10:30 a.m. service lasts about 75 minutes.

Do I need to bring anything?

No. We take a collection during the offertory hymn to support Holy Trinity and our ongoing ministries and mission. As our guest you are under no obligation to contribute, though we are grateful if you do.

What happens after church?

Please join us in the lobby for coffee and refreshments. This is a nice easy way to meet others in our parish in a casual setting.
